It's not nice to lie...

And it's really STUPID to lie about something that is so OBVIOUS........

Do they think we are really stupid enough to believe that this ,in fact is not a bow, but a "matter of a height differential" between Obama and a Saudi Arabian King

Do the people of the US have the word "Sucker" written on their foreheads? Maybe those who voted for him should go check!

I heard last night that Queen Elizabeth is only 5' 4", but Obama didn't appear to bow to her at all when greeting her.

*gasp* that ignorant, uncultured, terrorist! he should be impeached immediately! how could we have been so stupid as to elect a president who didn't know that you're only to bow to the saudi king if you're accepting a medal or jewelry from him.

Otherwise - it's only acceptable to hold hands with the man..and maybe slip in a kiss or two.

Seriously wish all you damn Democrats would realize that BUSH is no longer President, what's done is done bitch about it if you want but I'd rather have him back any day than Obama in the White House! My blog my opinion!! Actually I think I'd rather have John McCain (at least he has a little more life experience that I feel qualified him to become the next president, not to mention he has stronger morals and beliefs that I can identify with and that are more in line with my own). I won't delete Anti Bush comments (unless they just really piss me off and then see the "my blog I do what I wanna do here" rules) but seriously Bush made his mistakes, he is NO longer president so why keep harping on it???? Why not bash someone who's screwing up the US now, and for a LONG time to come?????

Lol, there don't seem to be any bounds as to the level of inanity the anti-bamas will stoop to in an effort to have some new daily criticism.

What does this sort of thing have to do with anything of any importance? What is it about Obama that ya'll are REALLY feeling so threatened by?

I'm neither a Dem nor a Rep, and don't really trust politicians in general to look out for the needs of society first before their own advancement.

Always interested to see what our leaders are up to, both to get an idea of their personal agendas behind what they tell us, and because political faux pas can be both unbelievable and hilarious.

But this video was only comment worthy to anyone out looking for yet another reason to cry "Obama is the devil, the demise of our country, etc etc."

We've all seen the treatment the Saudi leaders get by our leaders. And there are certainly facets to that relationship we're not all privy to, as well as massive cultural differences between us, them, brits, etc.

Members of the Saudi royal family were escorted out of our country on private jets on 9/11 by our government, to insure their safety. Doubt they'd have been doing that for the British royals.

And it's just amazing to me how so many Reps want us all to forget the last eight years. The state of our country at present is the result of those times and those policies. But everyone is waiting for Obama to fail to pull us out of it and then blame him for everything he was left to fix when he became president.

Bush is no longer president, but his legacy remains.

It really just sucks that in this country's time of need, there are so many people who seem to care more about being able to stand aside and point there finger, and seem eager for things to fail and fall apart so they can cast blame and go "see, told you so."

Is that really more important than the future of this country? Are our lives so empty that we have to fill them with this sort of triviality.

Sad.

I'm not a damn democrat, I'm not any sort of democrat. The world isn't black and white, you don't have to be one or the other. Perhaps my comment was rude in that it was sarcastic...but it was not meant as any sort of attack on you. To get one back was a bit unexpected. You're right - this is your blog. I wont insult you for your opinions.

It amazes me that the Dems want to blame everything on Bush for the last 8 years. The Dems were in control of Congress much of the time Bush was President. Last I checked we do have checks & balances in our govt. which meant the Dems had a lot of say over many things that happened the last 8 years. (With all of Obama's socialist ideas we'll see if we still have this system in place in 4/8 years. It has been there since the beginning of our country so I hope we are not stupid enough to let it change now.)

Right now the Dems are in control of the Presidency & Congress. So whatever gets messed up now is all on them. Bush may have made some mistakes but Obama is far from perfect himself. Very early in his Presidency he was already sending money overseas for abortions. Last I checked we don't have money to be loaning out (I would say only in cases of extreme emergencies).

I am also not a fan of how he wants to spread the wealth. If someone loses their job and needs help that is one thing. Sitting at home on your rear on welfare, collecting my money just because you're too lazy to work or have made bad choices is on you- not me. I didn't go to college/graduate school so I could support everyone else's families.

I agree that pointing fingers doesn't do our country any good but after 8 years of listening to the Dems complain and do it I would say it is their turn to listen to the crap, Obama is their man not mine.

About Bush's Legacy- he became President 9 months before the largest tragedy in our nation's history. He might not have handled things the way some of you would have but I would like to see how great you would've been. Bush's Presidency can't be compared to Clinton's or any other because no one else had to deal with 9/11 and its aftermath. The economy isn't going to be the same after such tragedy. It is also a fact of economics that the market goes up and it goes back down. Nothing can go up forever. It goes in waves and now is just one of the down times. Maybe if we could save some money by not passing it out for abortions and to people who sit at home "just because" we would be better off.

Bush's Legacy to me is one of a good man who did the best he could. I read a poll back when Obama took office. Basically it asked both Repubs & Dems if they thought Bush was a good person & if Obama was a good person. Overall the majority of Dems & Repubs thought Bush was a good person. The amount of both Dems & Repubs who thought Obama was a good person was far lower. At least Bush was a good man. I'm not sure I can say that for Obama, I guess we shall see. Not to mention he has NO EXPERIENCE! Let's not get started on that one.

A friend of mine's husband was killed in Iraq. She told me a story about Bush that means a lot to me personally. A friend of her husband's worked on Air Force 1. During a trip to Camp David the friend went into the chapel early one morning around 6:00 a.m. He saw a man up front on his knees praying. That man was our President, George W. Bush. He was beginning his day on his knees, with no one around watching. It wasn't for show, it was real. As a Christian this is his Legacy to me. I hope history will treat him kindly because he did the best he could with what was thrown his way. If you are perfect and without blame, then I am shocked. Obama says he goes to church but I'm a little scared of what all went on at this church of his.

I could go on FOREVER about these things, but I better stop now!!
